Yes I have been teaching dance, competing, doing shows and choreographing since I was 14.

Yes, I have had jazz tap and ballet for 21 years, ballroom and latin for 10 years, West Coast Swing for 17 years.

If you had to categorize your dance style, what would it be (hip hop, ballet, tap etc…)?
I specialize in International Latin and West Coast Swing

What other talents/hobbies do you have?
I took piano when I was little for about 10 years and I did some acting on and off.

Who is your favorite professional dancer?
My favorite dancer, hands down, is Gaynor Fairweather MBE. She is a fifteen time world International Latin Dance Champion. I will never forget the way I felt when I first saw her dance.I was only twelve or thirteen...I promised myself that I would do what ever it takes to become the type of dancer that would have the effect on people. She is the only dancer that has ever moved me to tears.

Does anyone in your family dance professionally?
Yes, my aunt and uncle had a studio near by where I grew up and they trained me for years!

Have you performed in musical theater or in public functions as a dancer?
Yes

What would you like to see happen to you as a result of the show?
I would love to do more commercial work as a ballroom, latin, or swing dancer to get more exposure for those particular dance styles. The main reason for my participation in this show is to become the best dancer I can be.

Where would you like to be in 10 years and what would you like to be doing?
In ten years I would like to be World Latin Champion touring all different parts of the world doing shows, coaching, competing etc. I would also like to increase exposure for ballroom and swing dances on tv, film, etc.

What has been your most memorable dance experience?
One experience I will never forget was when I won the US Championship in Swing for the first time. It was great because we were the youngest champions ever to win and no one thought we could do it.
