My parents, most certainly. They created this life for me to explore all these opportunities.
What's been your toughest obstacle in life?
I attended many dance schools growing up and was away many summers working with professionals, so I had a lot of criticism from peers regarding what I was (or was not) doing, and jealous teachers who tried to ground me to stay with one style/teacher. I had to be sure to stay true to what I wanted and who I was as a dancer.
If you win, who will you thank first?
First will be God for blessing me with life, an empty canvass to fill, then my parents for give me the tools to paint. And, lastly, my friends and Jai, who gave me the guidance and encouragement to create a beautiful picture in anything I do. Also, my students for their belief in me.
