What is in your CD player right now?
Dust. It's broken

What is your favorite type of music?
If I really had to choose, it's ballads for me.

How old are you?
I just turned 22 years old in june.

Where did you try out?
My native land, Los Angeles, California.

What's your hometown?
Downey.

When did you first start to dance?
At around age 19, I realized my breakdancing had such a high lack of actual dance. So I started to teach myself to groove better to music, by practicing in the mirror and getting rid of ugly bodily movement habits. I'm still in the process of that, by the way.

Do you have any formal dance training?
I've never undergone any actual training.

What other talents do you have?
Playing songs and all genres of music on piano by ear or by soul freestyle, which I LOVE. oh yeah I can also drive very VERY well. so well that its a talent. and by well, I do mean BAD.

If you couldn't dance, which talent would you most like to have?
I'd wish I were able to REALLY sing great. then I could put that together with my piano playing, composition skills, odd personality, weird image, and we've got a superstar! or at least a one-hit wonder.

If you don't make it on the show, what will you do?
I'd simply go back to where I left off . Dancing with my teams Sickstep and City Drifters, working on my musical career, and spending time with a certain girl . But hopefully I can get talent representation afterwards and be able to begin a dance career in the industry. Before I break this neck of mine.

What are your personal goals in life?
I want the music I compose to last forever after my life is over. I wish for it to become classic and even recycle itself through the generations. and for more people to be able to channel music through their soul because of my influence.

What album would your friends be surprised you dance to?
Anything highly mainstream hiphop. My team has never danced to radio hiphop, mostly old school or funk. so for them to see me do it oh man. They'll get me for it.

What is in your CD player right now?
Dust. It's broken. aww... and you just HAD to bring that up didn't you! If it was working, it would probably be playing Nobuo Uematsu (Japanese symphonic composer)

What is your favorite type of music?
Anything with clever and ingenious rhythmical or melodic patterns. Any song that makes me go,Whoa. I would never have thought of that. But, that's very general, isn't it. I guess I have a wide appreciation of music. But if I really had to choose, it's ballads for me.

Do you have any rituals or things you do each time before you perform?
Pray, use the restroom, or stretch out my left knee so that I can bend it way farther than normal. keyword is WAY. or I guess it could also be FARTHER.

Favorite male dancer?
A tie between Mike Burn (Bboy) and Ray Basa (Hip hop, House)

Favorite female dancer?
Cheryl M. Koo (Hiphop, Lyrical, Jazz)

What has been your proudest moment in life so far?
Climbing out of a horrific car wreck in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night . so proud to be ALIVE.

Most embarrassing moment?
Running out of my car and dashing to the sidewalk bushes in the middle of morning street rush hour to throw up last nights barbecue beef ribs. geeez. I could do without THAT memory.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
Usually people are surprised to see that I play the piano the way I do. But it's almost guaranteed that people get surprised when they find out I've never drank alcohol before or done any drugs. SEE? it got YOU too.

Do you have any lucky charms?
So many people could make a joke out of this question. but seriously, I always wear this gray rubber band on my left hand that says Music = Life. I cant do anything without it. It was given to me by a very special girl.

Who are your heroes in life?
My dad is my real hero in life.

What's been your toughest obstacle in life?
So You Think You Can Dance has been the hardest thing I've ever done. I'm very bad and inexperienced with remembering choreography, so it was a real challenge for a part of my brain that was never used much. I mean, I have enough trouble remembering what my own body can even do!

If you win, who will you thank first?
I would first thank God, then my family and friends, especially Cheryl Koo for her gracious support. And then YOU! for reading this and not editing a single thing out! haha... I'm just kidding, I know this is just ASKING to be spliced.
